In the pre-New Year's charity special edition of the show "Dancing with the Stars", war veterans Ruslana Danilkina and Pavlo Simakyn won victory, impressing the jury with a flawless performance and receiving the maximum 40 points.

During the pre-New Year's broadcast on the "1+1 Ukraine" channel, 12 participants demonstrated their dance skills, with veterans standing out particularly. Ruslana Danilkina, who at 18 defended Ukraine and lost her leg during service, performed in a pair with professional dancer Pavlo Simakyn.

Victory Story

Their dance - a passionate rumba - instantly won over all four judges: Natalia Mohylevska, Dmytro Monatik, Kateryna Kukhar, and Dmytro Dikusar. Each jury member awarded the maximum 10 points, which ultimately gave the pair 40 points.

Unique Performances of the Evening

Among other bright participants of the evening was the first LGBTQ+ couple in the show's history: veteran Oleksandr Demenko performed with his fiancé Arthur. Their number became a symbolic message about inclusivity and support.

It is important to note that the entire charity broadcast was aimed at supporting the Superhumans Center rehabilitation center. Funds from voting will go towards purchasing evacuation vehicles for wounded soldiers.
