"Thanksgiving" in New York in 2025 became a huge event for millions of locals and tourists. Today, November 27, the famous Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade kicked off, which ran from the Upper West Side to Herald Square.
"I just love the magic of Thanksgiving," shared excited viewer Megan Kibb. Many parade attendees recalled coming here as children and wanted to pass this tradition on to their kids. "For me, it's a tradition. And it's wonderful to start a new tradition with my family," explained Joe Lattanzi, one of the festival participants.
The event also featured a marching band from Northern Arizona University, who were thrilled to have the opportunity to visit New York for the first time. "We have been rehearsing for two months. When we found out we would be in the Macy's parade, we had plenty of time to prepare," one of the band members expressed.

The parade not only showcases cultural traditions but also unites people in a festive atmosphere, creating a sense of magic and joy.
