Starting January 1, 2026, a new nationwide program "40+ Health Screening," targeting citizens aged 40 and above, will be launched in Ukraine. The initiative is funded by the state through the National Health Service of Ukraine, with a total program budget of 10 billion hryvnias.

Program Goal

The program aims at early detection of chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and mental health disorders. Each participant will receive 2000 hryvnias on the "Diia.Card" for undergoing medical screening.

How to Participate

Participation in the program is available through the "Diia" application, where users receive an invitation on the 30th day after their 40th birthday. After confirming the request, the funds are transferred to a special card and can be exclusively used for medical screening.

Citizens not using "Diia" can apply at the nearest CNAP.

Participation of Medical Institutions

The process of contracting medical institutions will begin soon, and both public and private medical facilities can participate in the program. Institutions can apply for participation by November 30, 2026, if they meet all the requirements of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and NSZU.

Services Included in the Package

  • Physical examination and physician consultations.
  • Questionnaires to determine individual disease risk factors.
  • Assessment of psychological state and mental health.
  • Laboratory tests to check heart, vessel, and kidney function.

After the screening, the patient will receive recommendations for lifestyle improvements and disease prevention. In case of detected pathologies, the doctor can immediately prescribe treatment.
