On the Zaporizhzhia front, the commander of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDC) Denis "WhiteRex" Kapustin was killed. According to the RDC, the commander died overnight after being hit by an enemy FPV drone while performing a combat mission.
Who Was Denis Kapustin
Born in Moscow in 1984, Denis Kapustin was a renowned Ukrainian volunteer who led a unit of Russians fighting against Putin's regime. In August 2022, his formation officially became part of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine.

The RDC under Kapustin's leadership conducted several high-profile raids on the territory of the Russian Federation. In particular, in May-June 2023, the volunteers temporarily controlled settlements in the Belgorod and Kursk regions, demonstrating their ability to resist the regime.
