Ukrainian drones have once again intensified their activity over the territories of Russia and Crimea. On the night of November 25, as a result of a massive attack, 249 drones were shot down, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The most drones were destroyed over the Black Sea — 116 units, 76 over the Krasnodar Krai, as well as 23 over Crimea and 16 in the Rostov region.

Unfortunately, this attack resulted in casualties. Three people died in Taganrog, and at least ten citizens were injured. The governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, confirmed this information on his Telegram channel. It has also been reported that several residential buildings and social facilities were damaged.

Details of the attack

The mayor of Taganrog, Svetlana Kamburova, noted that during the night attack, two apartment buildings, a kindergarten, and several industrial facilities were affected. Information from Ukrainian monitoring projects, including Exilenova+, indicates that the attack targeted the Beriev Scientific and Technical Center, where, according to sources, a strategic bomber was present at the time of the strike.

It is emphasized that the Krasnodar Krai also suffered one of the most prolonged and massive attacks. Governor Veniamin Kondratiev reported six injuries and numerous damages to residential buildings in various localities of the region.

Attacks on infrastructure

In addition, there are reports of the consequences of attacks on infrastructure in Novorossiysk, where several citizens were also affected. At the time of publication, no official comments from the Ministry of Defense of Russia had been provided.

This attack once again highlights the vulnerability of facilities in southern Russia and demonstrates the course of a conflict that continues to extend beyond a simple armed confrontation.
