On Monday, December 29, famous British boxer Anthony Joshua was involved in a fatal car accident in Nigeria's Ogun state. According to preliminary law enforcement data, the Lexus SUV carrying the athlete collided with a stationary truck on a highway near the city of Makun.

According to local police, two passengers in the vehicle were killed — Joshua's personal trainers: Robert Latz and Sina Hami. Both men were sitting in the front seats, while the boxer himself was seated in the back.
