A student from Eysk, Dmytro Ponomarev, became a participant in the space expedition at Baikonur as part of the Student Expedition Corps “Arctic Team”. He is in his 4th year of undergraduate studies at the “Russian Technological University” and has already received a flag from astronauts that has been to the International Space Station.
Dmytro shares his impressions: “It is a great honor for me to represent not just my university here but all of Kuban. When you hold this flag in your hands, you realize the scale and significance of our space exploration. I am proud that our city Eysk is involved in such projects.”
He will also witness the launch of the Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket on November 27. According to the press service of the “Russian Technological University,” Dmytro had the opportunity to participate in this expedition due to his academic and scientific achievements.
This event attracts the attention of not only the local community but also all space enthusiasts in Ukraine and beyond.
