Russian Drones Attack Kyiv at Night: 4 Killed, Dozens Injured

On the night of January 8, Russian troops launched a massive rocket and drone strike on Kyiv, resulting in 4 deaths and 19 people injured.

Attack Details

According to Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, the attack occurred around 11:00 PM. Russian troops first launched drones and then struck with cruise and ballistic missiles.

Consequences in Different City Districts

• In the Darnytskyi district, drones hit a nine-story building, killing a medic
• In the Pechersk district, a 24-story uninhabited building was damaged
• In the Desnianskyi district - a fire in a residential building
• In the Dniprovskyi district, a private house was damaged

Infrastructure Damage

As a result of the attack, Kyiv experienced serious problems with electricity and water supply. City authorities are working to eliminate the consequences of the enemy strike.
