On December 16, hourly power outage schedules will be implemented again in Ukraine. The company "DTEK" reported that due to the consequences of missile and drone attacks by Russia on energy facilities, restrictions are being introduced in many regions.
Situation in Ukraine
According to information from "Ukrenergo," hourly power outage schedules are being applied to stabilize the energy system. In the Kyiv region, for example, electricity will be turned off in 6 shifts, while in other regions it will be from 2 to 3 times a day.
Outage Schedules
Below is a brief overview of the outage schedules for the main regions:
- Kyiv region: outages in shifts, a total of 6 shifts.
- Dnipropetrovsk region: hourly outages considering 2-3 times a day.
- Zaporizhzhia region: from 00:00 to 05:00, 09:00 to 14:00, 18:00 to 22:30.
- Sumy region: similar restrictions without electricity.

Considering the challenging situation in the energy system, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine urges the population to limit the use of high-power electrical appliances. It is also recommended to check the outage schedules on the official resources of the "oblenegro" in their regions.
