Today, as a result of a massive attack by Russian forces on the energy infrastructure of the Ternopil region, over 280,000 consumers were left without electricity. This was reported by the Ternopil Regional Military Administration (Ternopil RMA) on their Telegram channel. There was also a temporary suspension of centralized water supply in the regional center, Ternopil, due to the power outage at "Ternopilvodokanal" facilities.

The emergency power outage schedules that were urgently implemented help maintain the stability of Ukraine's unified energy system. Water facilities are being connected to backup power sources to restore the water supply.

"Ternopiloblenergo" JSC notes that the situation is complicated by damage to critical infrastructure facilities, particularly in Lviv region, where an energy facility was also hit. Emergency outages will remain in effect until a separate directive from NEK "Ukrenergo" is issued.

Today, many regions of Ukraine are experiencing power disruptions due to Russian attacks on energy facilities. Governments and energy companies are making every effort to restore stability and ensure basic services for the population.
