On Monday, December 8, power outage schedules are being reintroduced in Ukraine. According to "Ukrenergo", the "power" restrictions will be in effect in all regions of Ukraine.

According to the energy workers' report, the electricity supply situation remains complicated due to the aftermath of massive Russian missile and drone attacks on energy facilities. Therefore, measures to limit electricity consumption will be implemented around the clock.

Power Outage Schedules

During the day on December 8, power outages will be organized according to the following principles:

  • For household consumers — 2.5 to 4 shifts at the same time.
  • Time of outages — from 00:00 to 23:59.
  • For industrial consumers, power limitation schedules will also be enforced.

Consumers are advised to follow updates on the official pages of energy distribution companies in their regions, as the timing and extent of the restrictions may vary.

Regional Features

For example, in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv regions, the schedules entail 12 half-shifts with a maximum outage time of up to 7 hours.

In the Rivne region, enhanced schedules will also be applied — with hourly outages in 6 shifts.

Energy workers appeal to the public to use electricity sparingly during scheduled power turn-ons.

It is worth recalling that recently, Russia targeted energy facilities in Poltava, Kherson, and other regions, leading to disruptions in electricity supply.

The situation in the energy system may change, so energy workers urge everyone to stay informed about developments.
