On December 11, restrictions on electricity supply will be implemented in Ukraine. All regions are expecting hourly outages, which will serve as a reminder of the consequences of Russia's massive attacks on the energy system.

According to the report from "Ukrenergo," consumers across Ukraine will be without electricity for up to 12 hours a day. On Thursday, December 11, energy workers plan to simultaneously implement three schedules of hourly outages, including for residential and industrial consumers.

Outage Schedules by Region

The company "DTEK" has already published the electricity outage schedule for the capital and several other regions:

  • Kyiv: Restrictions will be implemented three times a day, and there will be no electricity for more than 10 hours.
  • Kyiv Region: The situation is similar; residents of the region will also be without electricity for more than 10 hours.
  • Dnipropetrovsk Region: In one of the schedules, power will be cut four times a day, also exceeding 10 hours without electricity.
  • Odesa Region: Most consumers will have their electricity cut three times a day, also leading to more than 10 hours without power.

These restrictions are a consequence of extensive Russian missile and drone attacks on energy infrastructure, which have significantly complicated the electricity supply situation. At the same time, as noted by the head of the board of "Ukrenergo" Vitaliy Zaichenko, Ukrainians may be left without electricity until the end of the week.

It is important to remember that as a result of the Russian attack on the energy system on the night of December 6, the electricity supply situation worsened. Earlier, on December 9, emergency outages were implemented in Poltava, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions due to the aftermath of Russian attacks.

We invite Ukrainians to familiarize themselves with the schedules and be prepared for the planned outages on December 11.
