Oleksandr Zubko Won the 16th Season of the Popular Culinary Show "MasterChef"

On December 27, the final of the 16th season of the popular culinary show "MasterChef" took place, where 25-year-old pastry chef from Vinnytsia, Oleksandr Zubko, won the main prize. The finalists were also Halyna Orudzheva and Daria Fateeva.

Path to Victory

Before the final, the participants underwent complex master classes from the jury members: Hector Jimenez-Bravo, Olha Martynovska, and Volodymyr Yaroslavsky. Each participant had to reproduce unique culinary techniques: Halyna was preparing a steak, Oleksandr was making mashed potatoes, and Daria was preparing Mongolian beef.

Final Challenge

In the decisive stage, Oleksandr presented a restaurant concept that included three dishes united by a common idea. His creativity and skill impressed the jury, as a result of which he won the main prize - training at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in Paris.

About the Winner

Oleksandr is from a small village and has been helping his parents in the kitchen since childhood. He started as a pastry chef making custom cakes and dreams of opening his own confectionery with unique signature desserts.

"I was able to prove to myself that everything is possible in life. The main thing is not to give up and go to the end," the winner noted.
