According to former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, Kushner's involvement in the peace negotiations changes a lot, as he could become a key player in the upcoming discussions. “He is a very intelligent person who knows how to make plans,” Klimkin noted during an interview on the YouTube channel LIGA.net.
Although Kushner does not hold an official position in the U.S. government, he remains a trusted person of Trump, which grants him significant weight in international matters.
