A unique special operation conducted by 14 fighters of the Special Operations Unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine "Brotherhood" provided an opportunity to demonstrate the high training of Ukrainian soldiers and innovative approaches in military art.

In October 2023, these fighters covered an impressive 200 km of open sea on ordinary jet skis to attack a Russian radar station in Crimea. The operation, mentioned in the book "Island of GUR. Secrets, Operations, War," was successful, and all participants returned safely to base.

Details of the Unique Operation

The group commander, known only by the call sign "Timur," noted that the greatest challenges lay in maintaining distance. "Jet skis are usually used for shorter raids at a distance of 10-15 km from the shore. During our special operation, there was a serious threat in case of a mistake," he explained.

It should be noted that during the raid, one of the jet skis suffered an accident, and it was nearly impossible to track it even with the help of drones. However, the use of jet skis allowed for a quick and stealthy approach to the edge of the Crimean coast, which was a key element for the successful attack on the strategic target of the enemy.

The operation confirmed that even in challenging conditions, Ukrainian special forces are capable of carrying out risky missions. This reflects their high level of training and bravery in the fight for Ukraine's independence.

Recall that earlier Budanov first revealed the details of the special operation in Pokrovsk, and the fighters of "Kraken" demonstrated the effectiveness of their actions on the front.
