Air raid alerts were declared in Ukraine today, November 25, due to missile strikes launched from a MiG-31K aircraft — the carrier of the aeroballistic missiles "Kinzhal". According to messages from the Air Forces of Ukraine and the Kyiv City State Administration on social media, the alert was issued in many regions.
At 7:00 AM, an explosion was heard in Kyiv, confirming the presence of dangerous situations in the sky over the capital. The Air Forces intensified operations to eliminate the threat posed by incoming missiles from the east.
Situation in the Capital
During the attack, an alert was also declared regarding the danger of aerial drones moving toward Kyiv from the northeast. This led to a renewed air raid alert in the city.
Significant Consequences
As a result of the missile strikes, civilians were harmed: six people were injured, one was killed, including three children among those affected. The missile strikes hit residential buildings, causing large-scale fires.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that emergency services are working to address the aftermath of the strike. "Several sections of residential buildings were affected," rescuers stated, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation.
