On the front, there were 269 clashes in one day, the hottest being the Kostiantynivka direction.

As reported by Ukrinform, this is stated in the operational report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook as of 8:00 AM on July 31.

Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike, used 83 missiles, conducted 70 air attacks, and dropped 254 guided aerial bombs. Furthermore, the enemy employed 8,980 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,941 shellings of populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, among which 39 were from multiple launch rocket systems.

Throughout the day, Ukrainian missile troops and artillery struck four UAV control points, three areas of concentrated manpower, seven command posts, and one more important facility of the occupiers.

In the North-Slobyzhansk and Kursk directions, there were four encounters with the enemy, the aggressor carried out one airstrike, dropped three aerial bombs, and shelled the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas in 78 instances, three of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South-Slobyzhansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops six times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Zapadne, Kopanky, and in the direction of Okhrimivka, Radykivka, and Khatne.

In the Kupiansk direction, there were nine enemy attacks on the territory of Tyshchenkivka and Radykivka.

In the Lyman direction, the aggressor made 17 attempts to break through the Ukrainian defense, attacking towards the settlements of Dibrivka, Stavky, Lyman, Drobysheve, Ozerne, as well as in the area of Novomykhailivka, Hrekiivka, and Novoselivka.

In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy conducted assaults 22 times in the areas of Zakіtnе, Kryvа Luka, Riznykivka, and in the direction of Piskunivka, Rai-Oleksandriivka, and Mykolaivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers carried out four attacks in the areas of Fedorivka Druha, Nykyforivka, and Tykhonivka.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy made 45 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Toretske, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and in the direction of Stepaniivka, Dovha Balka, and Vіlnoho.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 35 enemy attacks in the settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udashne, Novomykoaliivka, Molodetske, as well as towards Bilytskyi, Shevchenka, Myrnyi, Muravky, Novopavlivka, Novyi Donbas, Matyashovyi.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy made two attacks in the area of Kalynivske and Pershotravneve.

In the Huliaipilske direction, the invaders carried out 13 attacks towards Vozdvizhivka, Kosivtsovo, Hirkoh, Tsvitkovo, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders thwarted two attempts by the enemy to advance in the area of Bilohirya and Shcherbaki.

In the Dnipropetrovsk direction, Russian troops did not conduct active operations.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.

As noted by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to July 31, 2026, amount to approximately 1,446,150 personnel, including 1,340 personnel in the previous day.
