As a result of Russian attacks on the territory of Ukraine, several tragic incidents have occurred, including casualties and damage to medical institutions. Officials report a serious situation in the Sumy region and Konotop.
Tragedy in Konotop
Due to the strike of a Russian drone hitting a building in Konotop, one woman has died, and a teenager has been injured. This incident occurred on February 13. Official sources confirmed that this was yet another hostile shelling targeting civilian objects.
Shelling of Medical Institutions in Sumy
Today, February 15, Russian forces struck medical institutions in Sumy. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES), the shelling was cynical and aimed at the medical infrastructure. Fortunately, there were no casualties from this attack.
The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleg Hryhorov, emphasized that this is the second similar attack in a week, where Russian forces are deliberately hitting healthcare facilities.
Fires on Ukrainian Territory
After intensive shelling, many civilian objects have also been damaged, particularly in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kher-son regions. According to the report from the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, the enemy has struck several districts, resulting in two deaths and at least seven injuries, including a child.
These events indicate an increase in tension in the region, as well as ongoing threats to civilian citizens due to aggression from Russia. Official institutions are urging the population to adhere to safety measures.
The situation remains under control, and rescue services are doing everything possible to ensure the safety of the population.
