Ukraine's Minister of Defense Mikhail Fedorov appointed well-known volunteer Sergei Sternenko as his advisor to improve the efficiency of unmanned units at the front. Fedorov announced this on his own social networks.
According to the minister, Sternenko recently had a conversation with the President of Ukraine, and they decided to deepen cooperation to accomplish strategic tasks in the war against Russian aggression.
Key Areas of Work
Fedorov highlighted three key areas of cooperation:
- Basic provision of drone units
- Systematic supply of effective weapons
- Analytics and performance improvement of units
The minister noted that currently only 50 units out of 400 account for about 70% of all enemy strikes. The goal of cooperation with Sternenko is to help the other 350 units quickly grow and significantly increase the scale of destruction of Russian occupiers.
Expected Results
It is expected that thanks to Sternenko's experience, processes of additional training, operation analysis, and experience sharing between unmanned aerial vehicle units will be improved.
