Ukraine to Be Hit by Powerful Cold Snap with Temperatures Down to -20°
Ukrainian meteorologists warned about a sharp temperature drop that will cover most regions of the country. According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center and famous meteorologist Natalka Didenko, temperatures will plummet to critically low levels in the coming days.

The coldest temperatures are expected in:
- North and West: from -15° to -20° at night
- Kyiv and region: -16...-18° at night, -10...-12° during the day
- Western regions: -13...-18° at night, -9...-14° during the day
Regional Characteristics
Meanwhile, the southern and eastern parts of the country will have milder weather conditions. Specifically, in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Luhansk regions, and Crimea, temperatures will range from -2° to +3°.

Meteorologists warn of possible ice, storm winds, and occasional snowfall. Roads will remain slippery, so drivers are advised to be especially careful.
According to Natalka Didenko's forecast, a partial warming is expected only on January 16-17, but it will be short-lived.
