An air raid alert has been declared in Kyiv and several regions of Ukraine due to a massive attack by Russian strike drones. According to Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko, approximately 15 enemy drones are currently over the city.
Attack Details
The Ukrainian Air Force reports that enemy drones are maneuvering in the airspace of several regions, attempting to break through to key populated areas.
Threats by Region
- Kyiv Region: Increased danger for Brovary, Vyshhorod, Berezan, and Velyka Dymerka
- Chernihiv Region: A group of drones is heading towards the Kyiv Region
- Sumy Region: Enemy aircraft detected in the areas of Buryn, Terniv, and Dubovyazivka
- Kharkiv Region: Drones flying past Balakliia and Barvinkove
- Poltava Region: Drones in the southern part of the region
Authorities urge residents to stay in safe places until the all-clear signal and not to ignore air raid sirens. Air defense forces are actively working to neutralize the threats.
