Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a lengthy meeting with former Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, during which he officially announced the diplomat's return to the presidential team.

During an almost hour-long meeting, the parties discussed key issues of Ukraine's foreign policy. Zelensky emphasized: "It is important that the Ukrainian perspective on world events is represented strongly enough".

Meeting Details

According to presidential advisor Dmytro Lytvyn, Zelensky and Kuleba agreed on further cooperation, although specific job details are not yet disclosed.

Kuleba himself noted in a comment that "everyone in power and outside of it must be on Ukraine's team and bring her benefit".

Background

Recall that Dmytro Kuleba held the position of Foreign Minister from March 2020 to September 2024. At that time, the president announced his dismissal due to a lack of energy in promoting armament issues.
