Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGSU) Serhiy Deineko has received a new appointment in the Ministry of Internal Affairs system. This was personally announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko.

New Advisory Position

On January 4, Serhiy Deineko became an advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs. According to Klymenko, this decision was made taking into account medical recommendations and the need for a brief recovery after years of service.

Experience and Prospects

The Minister particularly noted Deineko's management experience, gained over more than six years as head of the State Border Guard Service, and his combat achievements. Klymenko expects expert support and advice from the new advisor based on combat experience.

Further Plans

After a short rehabilitation, Serhiy Deineko will be appointed commander of a SBGSU combat unit. According to the minister, this format will allow the most effective use of the general's professional potential.

It is worth recalling that recently, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced personnel changes in the security and defense system.
