On December 25, Ukrainians celebrate Christmas according to the new calendar — one of the brightest holidays symbolizing hope, faith, and family warmth. This year it's especially important to support loved ones with warm words and beautiful greetings.
Christmas is celebrated twice a year: December 25 according to the new calendar and January 7 according to ancient traditions. Regardless of the date, this holiday remains a symbol of light conquering darkness, especially important in current times.

Christmas Greetings from Church Leaders
The head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, His Beatitude Sviatoslav, greeted Ukrainians with special warmth: "Christ is born! God became man so that man could open the path to God." The Patriarch emphasized that even in the most difficult moments, the Savior is present beside us.
The church leader addressed a special message to Ukraine's defenders: "I especially greet our defenders, girls and boys on the front, who like shepherds stand guard over our dignity and freedom."
Greetings from the State
Ukraine's Minister of Defense also congratulated Ukrainians on the holiday, especially noting those who meet Christmas on the front: "Hundreds of thousands of defenders today meet Christmas on the front, protecting the comfort of their loved ones. And even in field conditions, our fighters try to prepare traditional dishes and even carol."
Christmas remains for Ukrainians a symbol of faith that light always conquers darkness, and family traditions preserve our identity even in the most difficult times.
