The National Bank of Ukraine has published the official exchange rate for Tuesday, January 6, 2026, where the US dollar has set a new historic maximum.
In particular, the US dollar rate has increased to 42.42 hryvnias, which is 25 kopiykas higher than the previous day. At the same time, the euro rate has slightly decreased and stands at 49.51 hryvnias per euro.
Currency Fluctuation Details
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, as of January 6:
- 1 US dollar = 42.42 hryvnias
- 1 euro = 49.51 hryvnias
- 1 Polish zloty = 11.74 hryvnias
Experts predict that in 2026, the hryvnia exchange rate will remain relatively stable. In particular, the state budget includes a rate of 45.7 hryvnias per dollar.
