On December 11, 2025, a magnetic storm is expected on Earth, according to the British Geological Survey. It is forecasted that this storm will be weak, with a geomagnetic activity level of G1.

Recently, on December 6, a coronal mass ejection occurred on the Sun, but its passage near our planet did not cause significant geomagnetic disturbances. However, on December 8 and 9, there were several more ejections from the Sun, partially directed toward Earth, so their influence will be felt on December 11.

Scientists from the Space Weather Prediction Center of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration of the United States note that the K-index level has already risen to 6, corresponding to a G2-level magnetic storm.

How will the magnetic storm affect your well-being?

On such days, people sensitive to changes in atmospheric pressure and solar activity may experience discomfort, ranging from headaches to fatigue and sleep disturbances. To reduce the impact of geomagnetic fluctuations, experts recommend:

  • Paying attention to sleep and rest schedules;
  • Drinking enough water;
  • Limiting the intake of coffee and alcohol;
  • Engaging in moderate physical activity, such as outdoor walks.

It should be noted that forecasts may change, so it is advisable to check for updates every three hours. Researchers assure that the most accurate forecasts are those made one day in advance.
