In the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, a series of explosions occurred last night due to a Russian attack. According to information provided by the Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, the occupiers carried out a combined strike, resulting in damage to multi-story buildings.

According to the head of the Kyiv city military administration, Tymur Tkachenkо, at least 4 people have been injured as a result of the attack. One of the injured was hospitalized, while three others received assistance on the spot. Damage from the strikes has been recorded in several districts of the city, including Svyatoshynskyi, Darnytskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi.

Consequences of the Strike

According to reports, there are rumors of a child being injured in the Shevchenkivskyi district. Also, due to the attack on the Solomianskyi district, a fire broke out in one of the residential buildings. As a result of debris falling on a 25-story residential building, damage to the facade has been recorded, as well as damage to several vehicles in the courtyard.

According to the information from the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a threat of ballistic weapon use was recorded before the attacks commenced, but details of the events are still being clarified. The authorities urge residents to follow safety precautions and remain in shelters.

This is not the first time Kyiv has been targeted by Russian attacks. According to the latest information, shelling has also occurred in other regions of Ukraine, including Dnipro, where explosions were also heard.
