Ukrainian singers Iryna Bilyk and Khrystyna Soloviy have presented an updated version of the song "Francois," which was first released in 1996 on the album "So Simple." The reinterpretation of the iconic composition, now with a new sound, was created as part of Khrystyna Soloviy's upcoming album dedicated to the culture of the Ukrainian 90s.

The updated "Francois" was presented on the YouTube platform, where it immediately received positive reviews from listeners and cultural critics. According to Khrystyna Soloviy's team, the new version of the song is a retrospective "glance from a thirty-year distance."

The music video for the song was filmed at the "Vavilon" restaurant in Kyiv, whose interior has preserved the atmosphere of the 90s. Iryna Bilyk, the author of the lyrics and a legend of Ukrainian pop music, gave Khrystyna Soloviy complete freedom in interpreting the composition. This creative synthesis and succession of the female scene impressed the audience with its sensuality and originality.

Besides collaborating with Iryna Bilyk, Khrystyna Soloviy plans to involve other well-known musicians of that time, such as El Kravchuk and the band "Mertvyy Piven," in her album. The album promises to become a true journey into the past, thanks to its original tempo and sound that recreate the era of the 90s, where, as stated in the music video, "there is no need to hurry anywhere."

This project is a vivid example of creative and cultural continuity, which unites different generations of Ukrainian music and celebrates the preservation of its unique traditions.
