Energy workers in Cherkasy region are forced to intensify measures to limit energy consumption in light of ongoing missile and drone attacks from the enemy. According to the deputy head of the central dispatch service for personnel at "Cherkasyoblenergo", Dmytro Chornobryvets, the main reason for these measures is the mass destruction of power generation facilities.
On the night of December 5-6, the eighth large-scale attack on Ukrainian energy infrastructure occurred since the beginning of the year. This led to the need for new restrictions on electricity consumption to ensure the stability of the energy system and avoid even more significant power supply interruptions for the population.
Specialists from "Cherkasyoblenergo" urge residents to understand the situation and, if possible, reduce electricity consumption during peak hours to help collectively overcome this critical situation. In turn, energy workers continue to work on restoring destroyed facilities and ensuring stable electricity supply for consumers.
Feedback from the population
Representatives of "Cherkasyoblenergo" emphasize the importance of cooperation with the population during the limitation of energy consumption. We recommend following the news and information regarding power outage schedules, which will be published on the official resources of the enterprise.
