New electricity outage schedules are being implemented in Ukraine today due to large-scale missile and drone strikes by Russian troops on energy infrastructure. According to Ukrenergo, consumption restrictions will last in all regions for 24 hours.

As a result of the attacks that occurred overnight, more than 100,000 consumers were left without power. The most affected areas are Kyiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions. In Kyiv, residents are divided into 6 blocks, for many of which the power will be turned off twice a day.

Anatoliy Zamulko, the acting head of the State Energy Regulatory Commission, reported on the worsening situation: "While we could previously reduce the duration of outages, today we are forced to implement extended schedules due to new attacks." Energy specialists emphasize that changes in schedules may occur in case of emergencies.

The restrictions will last until the situation in the energy system stabilizes, after which a return to previous operating modes may be possible. For timely information, residents are advised to follow updates on the official websites of regional energy suppliers.

Experts forecast that in the coming days, the electricity supply situation may remain difficult, particularly in regions that have been subjected to shelling.
