Incident Background

Recall that since December 13, massive Russian drone and missile attacks have been ongoing in the region, targeting the energy and civil infrastructure of the Odesa region. These attacks have caused significant power outages lasting more than three days, leading to the declaration of a state-level emergency.

Measures to mitigate the consequences

According to the decision of the commission on technogenic and ecological safety and emergencies, the responsible authorities are working on restoring power supply and conducting preventive work with local entrepreneurs on the rational use of electricity. Currently, more than 30,000 consumers in the region remain without electricity.

To ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical infrastructure facilities, such as hospitals and invincibility points, additional funds have been provided to replenish stocks of fuel and lubricants for backup generators.

This situation is yet another challenge for the residents of the Odesa region, who continue to face the consequences of Russian aggression.
