Expert opinion

Financial analyst Andriy Shevchishin noted that by the end of the year, the dollar rate may rise to 44-45 hryvnias. According to him, this is related to uncertainty regarding international aid and increasing demand for currency due to growing imports and needs of the population. "The last week of November is traditionally accompanied by depreciation of the hryvnia," he added.

During the preparation of the state budget for 2026, the government forecasts an average annual exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar at the level of 45.6 UAH. These data indicate possible further fluctuations in the exchange rate in 2024, which may be caused by changes in the economic situation.
