Today in Mukachevo, Zakarpattia Oblast, the court announced the verdict for four teenagers who committed the rape and robbery of a 46-year-old woman. This incident occurred on July 23, when a group of teenagers aged 13, 14, 16, and 17 invited the woman to walk her home but instead attacked her under a bridge.
According to journalist Vitalii Hlahola, the offenders lured the woman under the pretext of helping her get to a taxi. During the attack, they used force, took her gold jewelry and money, and then took turns raping her.
Court Decision
The court sentenced two of the three teenagers to 7 years and 1 month of imprisonment, while the third, who had a prior conviction, received 7 years and 2 months. Regarding the youngest of the suspects, who has not reached the age of criminal responsibility, the case materials were sent to court to address the issue of placing him in a specialized educational institution.
The woman who became a victim of the crime expressed her emotions in the courtroom and stated that she was satisfied with the court's verdict.
