Starting from November 22, 2023, in Ukraine, the list of goods and services on which funds received through the "National Cashback" program can be spent has been updated. The Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine informs that these changes were necessary to synchronize the programs with the state initiative "Winter Support". This will allow state aid to be directed towards the basic needs of citizens.

The updated categories of expenses that have become available include:

  • utilities;
  • postal services;
  • food products in stores and supermarkets;
  • medications and medical devices;
  • books and other printed materials;
  • charity, including donations for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other charitable purposes.

Program users can already spend the accumulated funds on medicines, medical devices, books, and other printed materials, while other categories will become available in the near future.

The Ministry also announced that the funds accumulated on the "National Cashback" card can be used until June 30, 2026. Currently, there are over 7.5 million Ukrainians participating in the program, who have already received more than 4 billion hryvnias in payouts.

To participate in the program, citizens can register in the "Diia" mobile application, choose one of the 20 participating banks, and open a "National Cashback" card. At this moment, program participants can receive a 10% cashback on purchases of goods registered in the program at partner retail outlets.

The project is being implemented in collaboration with several state institutions and international payment systems, emphasizing the government's commitment to ensure access to necessary resources for Ukrainians during this challenging time.
