Today, immediately after the release of the first four episodes of the fifth season of "Stranger Things," Netflix viewers faced serious technical issues. Many users reported an outage that prevented them from accessing the platform.

According to Downdetector, the number of complaints about the streaming service surged within minutes of the premiere, reaching nearly 14,000 reports. Users experienced error messages, including code NSEZ-403, and messages like "Something went wrong" or "There was a problem with your request."

In response to the situation, Netflix advised viewers to try watching from other devices. The company confirmed that it was working on resolving temporary issues with streaming video on TVs, but assured that all accounts were restored in less than five minutes.

To prevent overload, Netflix has already increased the system's bandwidth by 30%. Currently, the first four episodes of the new season are available for viewing. Three more episodes will appear on December 25, and the final episode will be released on December 31.

It is worth noting that Casio released themed watches for $150 for fans of "Stranger Things." At the same time, Cloudflare explained the reasons for the outage that affected ChatGPT, X, and other sites in Ukraine.
