Hourly Power Outages Will Be in Effect Across the Country on Sunday

The National Energy Company Ukrenergo announced the resumption of hourly electricity outage schedules in all regions of Ukraine on January 18.

According to the company, the schedules involve power outages for household and industrial consumers. The reason for such limitations is the consequences of Russian rocket and drone attacks on energy infrastructure.

Outage Schedules in Different Regions

In particular, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, consumers are planned to be disconnected three times a day, with a total duration of 11-17 hours without electricity. In the Odesa region, outages will occur two to three times a day, lasting up to 13.5 hours.

In the Lviv and Kharkiv regions, scheduled and emergency outage schedules will also be in effect. Precise time intervals and duration of power supply interruptions should be clarified on the official pages of local energy companies.

Situation in Kyiv

First Deputy Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported that energy workers are working around the clock and involving additional brigades from other regions to overcome damage consequences.
