Today, December 23, updated power outage schedules will be in effect in the Cherkasy region. As reported by the press service of "Cherkasyoblenergo", these measures are necessary due to the complicated situation in Ukraine's energy system following the shelling of critical infrastructure by the Russian military.
Power Outage Schedules
"Cherkasyoblenergo" has published hourly outage schedules for today. Outages will occur in six shifts, each with its own hourly blackout intervals. For example:
- 1.1: 06:00 - 09:00, 12:00 - 15:00, 18:00 - 20:00, 23:00 - 24:00
- 2.1: 02:00 - 04:00, 08:00 - 10:00, 13:00 - 16:00, 19:00 - 22:00
- 3.1: 04:00 - 06:00, 08:00 - 11:00, 15:00 - 18:00, 22:00 - 24:00

Reasons for Outages
The implementation of these schedules is due to the damage to key energy facilities as a result of hostilities. Representatives of NEC "Ukrenergo" noted that such measures are necessary to stabilize the region's energy system.
