Today, November 28, power outage schedules continue to be in effect in all regions of Ukraine due to massive Russian shelling of energy infrastructure facilities. This was reported by the company "Ukrenergo." Currently, the following hourly restrictions have been implemented:

  • from 00:00 to 23:59 — hourly power outage schedules for household consumers ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 loads;
  • from 00:00 to 23:59 — power limitation schedules for industrial consumers.

Ukrenergo's head, Vitaliy Zaichenko, emphasized that the situation in the energy sector remains complicated due to damage caused by regular attacks. According to the latest data, all major thermal power plants and hydropower plants in Ukraine have sustained damage, complicating the work of energy workers.

Every day, Ukrainian energy workers try to alleviate the power supply schedules, but the current situation in some regions remains critical. The front-line regions, particularly Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, and Donetsk region, suffer the most, where the likelihood of outages remains high.

If Russian attacks on the energy system decrease, energy workers will be able to more quickly address the destruction and gradually cancel the outage schedules. However, experts say that the restoration of the energy system could take up to eight years after the end of the war, and in the winter, power outages may increase in case of colder weather.

Thus, Ukrainians are advised to follow the information on the official pages of energy companies on social networks, as the time and extent of restrictions may change.
