According to the report from the energy system operator "Ukrenergo," tomorrow, December 9, power outage schedules will continue to be implemented in Ukraine. Outages will be applied across all regions, with the volume of interruptions ranging from 2 to 4 stages.

Power cuts will occur from 00:00 to 23:59 for residential consumers, and a similar power limitation schedule will apply for industrial consumers as well. The company "Ukrenergo" reminds that the reason for implementing these restrictions is the consequences of the recent massive attacks by the Russian Federation on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

Impact of Shelling on the Grid

Since the beginning of the year, "Ukrenergo" has recorded eight massive air attacks that significantly damaged energy facilities. As a result, Ukraine is currently experiencing a deficit of electricity, leading to the necessity of introducing stricter blackout schedules. In particular, the most difficult situation is observed in the Chernihiv and Donetsk regions, where the continuous shelling has delayed the restoration of energy infrastructure.

Recommendations for Consumers

The operator urges the population to be cautious about electricity consumption after the power supply is restored and to conserve electricity as much as possible. Clarifications regarding the limitation schedules will be available on the social media pages of regional energy companies, so consumers should keep an eye on updates.

Ukrainians should be prepared for possible changes in the outage schedules, as the situation with the electrical grid remains tense.
