In Ukraine, on November 30, the schedules for hourly power outages will continue, which will be intensified due to the consequences of massive attacks by Russian forces. According to information released by the company "Ukrenergo," power will be turned off for 0.5 to 3 shifts simultaneously throughout the day.
As a result of recent rocket and drone attacks that occurred on November 29, particularly in Kyiv, approximately 500 thousand consumers have been left without electricity. In regional centers such as Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk region, the situation remains complex. At the same time, power limitation schedules will continue for industrial consumers.
Reasons and Consequences
The company "Ukrenergo" noted that the outage schedules are not final and may change throughout the day depending on the security situation. The maximum volumes of power outages will mainly occur in the evening hours when the consumption due to the December cold may be the highest.
In addition, warnings about possible changes in the timing and volume of restrictions have already been issued by energy providers. They urged the population to follow the news on the official pages of the regional energy companies.
It is worth reminding that the power situation is already so critical that electricity disconnection schedules were implemented following severe attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, particularly on November 8 and 19.
