“Obolon,” with the support of the football club “Shakhtar,” has announced a new social campaign aimed at helping orphaned children in the Zhytomyr region. The initiative aims to raise funds and gather necessary items for the residents of orphanages who have been affected by the armed conflict in Ukraine.
This campaign began today and will last for a month. In particular, “Obolon” has planned to hold several charity matches, part of the proceeds from ticket sales of which will be directed to meet the needs of the children. “We believe it is important to support those who need it most, especially during times of war,” noted a representative from “Obolon.” Among the planned activities is also the organization of collections for toys, books, and clothing.
The football club “Shakhtar,” in turn, will offer its infrastructure for the event and supports the initiative financially. “Our team is always ready to help those in need. We hope that everyone who cares will join this important cause,” said the captain of “Shakhtar.” Regular updates on the progress of the campaign and the results of the collections will be provided through social media and the club’s official website.
This cooperation between the clubs demonstrates the importance of social responsibility in the sports environment, especially in the face of the modern challenges facing Ukraine.
