On November 22, 2025, the long-awaited UFC Fight Night 265 tournament will take place at the "ABHA Arena" in Doha, Qatar, featuring the main event match between Arman Tsarukyan (22–3) from Russia and New Zealander Dan Hooker (24–12).
The lightweight bout (up to 70.3 kg) is scheduled for 5 rounds and promises to be intense, as both athletes are in excellent shape. Tsarukyan is having his first fight since April 2024, after winning against former champion Charles Oliveira. Some believe he was close to a title fight but had to withdraw from a meeting with reigning champion Islam Makhachev in January due to health issues.
Dan Hooker, for his part, is also determined to win, coming off a three-fight winning streak. His most recent victory was over Polish fighter Mateusz Gamrot, which elevated his ranking to 6th place.

This event will also include a co-main event where former welterweight champion Belal Muhammad (24–4) will step into the ring against Irishman Ian Garry (16–1). A total of 14 bouts are scheduled, featuring battles between many well-known athletes.
