Starting from November 22, 2023, Ukrainians will have new options to spend the funds accumulated on the cards of the "National Cashback" program. This has come about due to the introduction of the state program "Winter Support," which will provide payments of 1000 UAH for all citizens of Ukraine.

According to representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine, the new list of goods and services for expenditures emphasizes the need to direct financial assistance toward basic needs. Funds from the programs can be used for:

  • utilities;
  • food products in stores;
  • medications and medical devices;
  • books and other printed materials;
  • charitable contributions for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other charitable purposes.

It is important to note that with the new changes, a large number of updated categories are already available for spending, specifically money for medications, medical devices, and books can be spent right now. Additionally, funds that will be paid out under the "Winter Support" program will automatically be credited to the "National Cashback" cards, allowing all citizens to use these funds in everyday life.

To date, the "National Cashback" program covers over 7.5 million Ukrainians, who have received over 4 billion UAH. According to the new conditions, these programs will be active until June 30, 2026.

To participate in the program, you need to register in the "Diia" application and choose one of the 20 participating banks to open a "National Cashback" card. Vendors who wish to join the program can also submit an application through the "Diia" portal. The project is being implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the National Bank of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers, the State Tax Service, and international payment systems.
