According to forecasters, the upcoming night in Ukraine will mark the end of the severe cold period. Well-known meteorologist Natalia Didenko reported that on the night of February 10, the air temperature will drop to -12 to -20 degrees, and in some northern regions, it could reach -22 degrees.
Citizens may observe a significant improvement in weather conditions already on Tuesday afternoon, when the temperature in most regions will be -4 to -11 degrees. Southern and western Ukraine can expect temperatures ranging from -2 to +2 degrees in Transcarpathia.
Weather in Kyiv
In Kyiv, the temperature will fall to -20 degrees at night, but on February 10, dry and sunny weather is expected during the day, with temperatures around -10 degrees. In the second half of the day, the southern wind will intensify.
Warming will occur due to the anticyclone
Thanks to the influence of the anticyclone, significant precipitation is not expected. Only in Transcarpathia, a small amount of wet snow may be possible. The wind in the western part of the country will be predominantly southern, moderate, with possible strong gusts.
Natalia Didenko noted that although temperature fluctuations are still possible, we can eagerly expect a rise in air temperatures in the coming days. "Winter is not over yet, but we have a good forecast for the near future," the forecaster emphasized.
