Due to the consequences of Russian missile strikes on energy facilities, "Ukrenergo" has announced the implementation of hourly power outage schedules that will be in effect throughout the day on February 7 across Ukraine. To stabilize the energy system, the company urges citizens to use electricity sparingly when it is available.
Power Outage Schedules by Region
According to information provided by "DTEK," different regions will have different outage schedules:
- Dnipropetrovsk Region: Power will be turned off two to four times a day across all consumer queues.
- Lviv Region: In groups 1.1, 1.2, 3.1, 4.1, 5.1, 5.2, and 6.1, electricity will be provided throughout the day. In other queues - one outage per day.
- Odesa Region: Power outages will occur two to three times a day for all consumer queues.
Emergency Outages Due to Shelling
In addition to scheduled outages, "Ukrenergo" reports the introduction of urgent emergency outages due to recent attacks on Ukraine's energy system, particularly on heat generation facilities. As a result of hostile actions, especially in Kyiv and other regions, previously announced schedules had to be canceled.
Energy experts warn that the situation in the energy system remains complicated and urge the public to monitor updates on the official websites of regional energy companies.
Remember that the restoration of energy infrastructure after estimated damage from attacks can take a long time, so it is important to be prepared for such scenarios.
