On the night of January 20, Russian occupiers launched a massive strike on Kyiv using ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. This was reported by representatives of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
Attack Details
Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko reported a serious shelling of the capital. According to him, the attack began around 02:00 at night from the north.
As a result of the attack, non-residential buildings were damaged in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv, and car fires were recorded at another location. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported one injured person, to whom a medical team has already been dispatched.
Call to Population
City authorities strongly urge Kyiv residents to remain in shelters until the air raid alert is completely over.
It is worth noting that the day before, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned about the possibility of a new massive strike by the Russian Federation.
