Mass Attack by Occupants Paralyzes Capital's Life
Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko announced the most destructive shelling of the city, which damaged the capital's critical infrastructure. As of the morning of January 9, serious life support problems have emerged in the city due to overnight strikes by Russian occupants.
Attack Consequences
According to Klitschko, as a result of the shelling:
- Over 6,000 multi-apartment buildings are without heating
- Water supply disruptions have occurred
- Emergency power outages have been implemented
Mayor's Recommendations
Vitaliy Klitschko addressed the capital's residents with an urgent call: "If possible, temporarily leave the city to areas with alternative power and heat sources, we ask you to do so".
Utility services are operating in emergency mode. In particular, energy workers and utility workers are trying to restore electricity and heat supply by connecting mobile boiler rooms to socially important facilities - hospitals and maternity homes.
Despite challenging weather conditions, city services are making maximum efforts to restore the city's infrastructure as quickly as possible.
