On the night of January 9, Kyiv suffered a powerful missile attack by the Russian Federation. Russian troops shelled the capital of Ukraine using drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic ammunition.

As a result of the attack, several residential buildings were damaged. In particular, in the Desniansk district, a drone hit the roof of an 18-story building, and in the Pechersk district, part of the facade of a nine-story building was destroyed.
Enemy Tactics Change
Military observer Bohdan Myroshnyk noted that Russian Shahed drones began flying much lower - at a height of 17-22 floors, which may indicate an intentional increase in risks for civilian population.
Attack Consequences
According to preliminary data, there are casualties and wounded. In particular, medical workers who responded to calls were injured. The city was left without electricity.
Rescue services continue to work in an enhanced mode, eliminating the consequences of the missile attack.
