Conflict Between STB TV Channel and Streamers Over "The Bachelor" Broadcast
On the eve of the finale of the 14th season of the reality show "The Bachelor", a loud scandal erupted between the STB TV channel and popular streamers. The show's host Grigory Reshetnik accused Philip Tremba and other streamers of copyright infringement.
TV Channel's Position
Reshetnik stated that STB will not provide any permissions for broadcasting show episodes. "Respect copyrights - this is the foundation. Everything else is manipulation," he wrote.
Experts' Opinion
Comedian Andrey Rybak clarified that actually all copyrights belong to Warner Brothers, not STB. According to him, the TV channel only has exclusive broadcasting rights.
Streamers' Reaction
Philip Tremba explained that previously the TV channel did not object to their broadcasts and even commented on their TikToks. The streamer noted that he repeatedly tried to obtain official permission for broadcasting, but the STB team ignored him.
