Ukrenergo reported that on December 25, restrictions for household and industrial consumers will be in effect in all regions of Ukraine from 00:00 to 23:59. The reason for implementing the schedules was the consequences of massive Russian missile and drone attacks on energy facilities.
Recall that on the night of December 24, the enemy attacked energy infrastructure, resulting in new blackouts appearing in the morning in Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions.
Ukrenergo warned that schedules may change. The company advises to check current information about the time and scope of blackouts on the official pages of regional energy companies in respective regions.
Earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko reported that the government set a task to redirect electricity (up to 1 GW) to the needs of the population by December 24, which was freed as a result of reviewing the list of critical infrastructure facilities.
